This policy explains what information StudyPik (studypik.com and app.studypik.com) handles and why. The site is run by kim. We have no user accounts.
Two parts of this site
The site has two parts. The public site (studypik.com) holds the home page, the guides, a page about each tool and these legal pages. It has no editor and does not ask for or store your wedding or guest information. This site currently uses no advertising and no analytics.
The editors (guest list, seating, print kit, budget, timeline, checklist and vendor comparison) run on a separate app site (app.studypik.com). The app site loads no third-party scripts: no advertising and no analytics. What you enter there stays in your browser; it is saved in your browser’s local storage for the app site only after you check “Keep on this device”. The two parts do not share what is stored in your browser.
What you type or open in the editors
The editors run in your web browser. Text you type and files you open are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers. Each editor offers a “Keep on this device” option; only when you check it is your input saved in your browser’s local storage, and unchecking it deletes it.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and keeps short-lived logs for security and reliability. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which delivers the pages from its global network; its privacy policy at cloudflare.com explains how it handles this data.
Consent
When advertising or analytics is enabled, visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising or analytics cookies are used. Where a law such as the GDPR requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable site for the hosting logs. Everywhere else you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact: support@sqztop.com.
