Add your own tasks, give each a fixed date or a rule such as “3 months before the wedding”, and the checklist sorts them into Do now, This week, Later and No date.
How to use it
Enter your wedding date if you have one. You can add it later; tasks set relative to it get their dates then.
Add a task and choose when it is due: no date, a fixed date, or a number of months and days before or after the wedding. The worked-out date is shown next to the rule.
Work from the top. “Do now” holds overdue tasks, then come “This week” (today and the next 6 days), “Later” and “No date”. Done and skipped tasks fold away at the bottom.
Change several at once: select tasks, then mark them done or move them one week earlier or later. Undo reverses any step.
Check Keep on this device to keep the list after a reload, and download a backup, a CSV or a printable list (A4 or Letter).

Later
February 2027 has no 31st, so “3 months before May 31” lands on its last day, February 28. In the same way,
“1 month after May 31” is June 30. “21 days before” is plain counting: 31 − 21 = 10, so May 10. If you then move the
invitations one week later, the due date becomes March 7, 2027, which is 85 days before the wedding.
Next step
Start the wedding guest list so the invitations and final numbers have something to count.
For the day itself, plan the hours in the wedding day timeline, and compare quotes for the
vendors on your list with the vendor comparison.
Frequently asked questions
How is “3 months before” worked out when the day does not exist in that month?
Months are counted by the calendar, and the day is kept when it exists. When it does not, the last day of that month is used: 3 months before May 31 is February 28, or February 29 in a leap year. It never spills into the next month, so the due date is never later than you meant. Day counts (“21 days before”) are plain days and are never adjusted.
I started planning late. Are the tasks I missed hidden?
No. An open task whose date has passed goes to “Do now”, however long ago the date was, and shows how many days it is overdue. It stays there until you mark it done or skipped, or give it a new date. If a search or owner filter hides one of these tasks, the editor says how many are hidden and offers to show everything again.
Do I have to use the example list?
No. The list starts empty. The example appears only when you press “Start from an example list”, and every task in it is an ordinary task you can edit or delete. It is a starting point, not a set of rules: nothing in it is required, and it leaves out customs, religious steps and legal paperwork, which differ by couple and by place. One task reminds you to ask whoever handles your ceremony what paperwork it needs.
What happens to the due dates if our wedding date changes?
Change the wedding date at the top and every task set “before” or “after” the wedding moves with it. Tasks with a fixed date stay on their date. Without a wedding date, relative tasks say “set your wedding date to see the due date” and wait under “No date”.
How do we share tasks between us?
Type who does a task in “Who”, in your own words: a name, “us”, a friend. Names you used before are suggested, and the owner filter shows one person’s tasks. There are no preset roles. To give someone their list, filter by their name and print it, or download the CSV.
What does “1 week later” do to a task set “3 months before”?
It moves the due date by exactly 7 days and keeps the task tied to the wedding date. “21 days before” becomes “14 days before”. A month-based task becomes a day count with the new date: 3 months before May 31, 2027 is February 28; one week later is March 7, which is “85 days before the wedding”. Tasks without a date are not moved, and the editor tells you how many were left out.
Who can see my notes, and is the list saved?
Notes are private: they are never printed, and they go into the CSV only when you check “Include private notes”. The checklist is saved on this device only when you check “Keep on this device”. Download a backup now and then, because browser data can be cleared. This backup holds this page only: the guest list workspace and every other planner page (budget, day timeline, vendor comparison) each have their own backup.
